Covid-19 Policies and Procedures
First and foremost we hope this finds you and your family are safe and well.
We trust, like us, you are finding these times extremely difficult. Health is such an important part of the story behind Academykicks it is important for you to know that yours and your child's health is our primary concern. We are monitoring the government updates very closely. We wholeheartedly wish for you and your families the very best of health during this difficult time and the difficult times to come.

We have put together a few updates relating to our operation.

Self-Health check:

Self-checks are very important in identifying who has possible symptoms of COVID-19. This helps reduce those with the virus attending football activity and transmitting on to others. This quick check should be done before each training session so those who trigger a positive answer, can stay away to protect everyone else.

Weekly development sessions:

When the lock down is eased further, this will be the first item on the job list. We know you have all missed our weekly development sessions, so as soon as we can we hope to get these back up and running. We are expecting some social distancing regulations, which may limit out sessions capacity. We will do everything in our power to provide more sessions across the week to allow everyone to return to training. We will be in touch over WhatsApp and/or email when we know more.

Football Camps:

We are still advertising and selling places for our football camps for July and August. We are confident that these will go ahead, but rest assured if this is cancelled due to Covid-19 then all players will receive a full refund. This may have capacity restrictions so we can not guarantee a place for everyone. We will do our utmost to ensure capacity is available for all. Click here for more information.

Social Distancing:

Your health is our highest priority. So when we resume training please rest assured that the following social distancing measures will be enforced:-

- Smaller session sizes. This will mean we will offer sessions on most days of the week and will do our best to provide you with the days that are most suitable for your child's development and availability.

- Hygiene. We will endeavour to provide hand sanitiser for you and your children to use freely and regularly. This also means that certain training drills will also be limited to small groups to prevent unnecessary gathering and complying with the government advice of remaining 2 metres apart at all times.

- Equipment. All of the Academykicks equipment will be disinfected prior to and after each training session. This will also be provided so that your children can disinfect footwear prior to and after each session also.

We will be in touch in the coming weeks and continue to offer help, support and any updates.

We want to thank you for your understanding and commitment to us. We hope to see you very soon, but in the mean time, stay safe and keep practicing.
